FilmFridge is an analog film inventory app for iPhone and iPad, developed by Small Arts Media. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.
FilmFridge stores your inventory, camera, and roll history data locally on your device by default. No account or payment information is collected. No data is sent to the cloud unless you explicitly opt in to Cloud Sync in the app's Settings. Until you do, all data remains entirely on-device.
Once cloud sync is enabled, your data is synced to your account via Firebase (Google) so it is available across your devices. We do not sell or share this data with third parties.
If you choose to geotag a roll or journal entry, the app accesses your device's location at that moment. Location data is stored as part of your roll history and is not used for any other purpose. Location access is optional and can be denied in your device's Settings at any time.
The app requests camera access solely to scan film box barcodes. No photos or images are stored or transmitted by the app.
FilmFridge uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data — such as which features are used and how often. This data does not identify you personally and is used only to improve the app.
Your data is retained for as long as you maintain an account. You may delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app's Settings. If you disable cloud sync across all your devices, cloud-stored data is deleted within 7 days.
FilmFridge is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
